Charlie Kirk's Killing: Pieces of the Puzzle, Conspiratorial and Otherwise
Doublethink and the Doublemind
"To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which canceled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it…and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself—that was the ultimate subtlety: consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word ‘doublethink’ involved the use of doublethink.” — George Orwell, 1984

Has anyone explained how the accused Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson hid the rifle it is said he used in the assassination? Video surveillance shows him jumping off the roof where he fired the shot, carrying only a small bag and then fleeing across the lawn toward his car. What happened to the rifle?
If he didn't possess it when he jumped off the roof, how did it come to be hidden on the ground in wooded brush? A scoped bolt-action Mauser is not concealable in a “small bag.” The rooftop-to-ground footage shows no rifle. Therefore, unless the camera angle somehow obscured it (which seems doubtful with such a long weapon), the rifle was almost certainly not in his possession when he hit the ground and fled across the lawn. An accomplice could have undertaken the concealment while the shooter fled quickly.
Furthermore, as in numerous “lone nut” coverups in the past (the Son of Sam case is most notorious in this regard) law-enforcement authorities announced on the day of the suspect’s apprehension that he had acted alone. How is it possible to make that determination within a few hours of the arrest of an alleged perpetrator? The investigation of a crime is propelled to a new magnitude on the day of an arrest. The search for accomplices is propelled forward with a suspect in custody.
However, where it has been pre-ordained that the case will be effectively closed on the day it should begin in earnest, the announcement is made that the accused had no co-conspirator(s). This claim is put forth didactically by the authorities. How could they possibly know this within a few hours of the arrest?
If you ask these questions about their pretended omniscience, and doubt their apparently pre-determined lone nut verdict, you will be denounced as a tin-foil hat conspiracy theorist. It’s a diddle as old as Lee Harvey Oswald and Ted Kaczynski.
