Donald Trump Makes Dual Loyalty Manifest

In his speech to the Israeli Knesset on October 13, President Trump’s puckish wit was evident as he revealed his cards. Addressing Miriam Adelson, who was seated in a place of honor in the gallery of the Zionist parliament, he made an unprecedented, Revelation-of-the-Method observation about dual loyalty.

He recalled that he once had asked her: “What do you love more — the United States or Israel?”

He said Adelson had refused to answer, implying that her unwillingness to do so suggested that her first priority was allegiance to Israel.

Trump’s words, though delivered in a good-natured, teasing tenor, raised the issue of whether an American citizen’s fealty lies with the United States or a foreign nation. Adelson is a U.S.–Israeli dual citizen, billionaire political donor, and widow of casino magnate Sheldon Adelson. The duo’s fortune is responsible for well over $100 million in donations to Trump’s election efforts.

The matter of this Janus-faced dualism was also raised by Tucker Carlson at Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA Student Action Summit July 12 in Tampa, Florida:

“I think anybody, by the way, who serves in a foreign military should lose his citizenship immediately. There are a lot of Americans who’ve served in the IDF, they should lose their citizenship… you can’t fight for another country and remain an American period.”

An estimated 23,380 American citizens have served in the Israeli military over the past two years alone.

In summoning the issue of Adelson’s divided fidelity, Trump was indicting his own split personality. He has dispatched billions in taxpayer dollars to the Israeli war machine while Americans cannot afford their healthcare premiums and our quality of life continues to deteriorate.

Moreover, Mrs. Adelson has teamed with her fellow dual loyalist in the White House in his campaign to defeat America-First Republican patriot congressman Thomas Massie’s reelection in Kentucky. Like Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Rep. Massie is a single loyalty legislator who privileges the needs of Americans over Israelis — and any other foreign nationality.

According to campaign-finance reporting, between June 27 and August 4, MAGA KY, a super PAC funded by Adelson, had spent nearly $750,000 in the effort to unseat Massie. In that same six week period, the outlay by the pro-Israeli, Trump-aligned coalition to prevent Massie’s reelection totaled $1.56 million. Many millions more will be expended between now and November to ensure that treason doth ever prosper and only a candidate approved by a foreign lobby will be re-elected to Congress in Kentucky.
