“Naked error is powerless to deceive, and borrows all of its effectiveness from the fragments of the truth with which it is clever enough to associate itself.”
— Asa Mahan
Counter-intelligence has been among the least utilized weapons of students of ruling class conspiracies: we get infiltrated, we don’t infiltrate.
This is a dismaying indicator of debilitating weakness in light of what the patrician Obama crony Cass R. Sunstein, one of the Cryptocracy’s behavior modification specialists, divulged when he co-authored a Revelation of the Method manifesto,“Conspiracy Theories: Causes, and Cures” (The Journal of Political Philosophy, volume 17, number 2, [2009,] p. 218). In it he wrote:
“The government should engage in cognitive infiltration of the groups that produce conspiracy theories…”
It is our vocation to gain the blessing of Divine Providence to obtain mastery of an epistemology that will afford us powers of discernment so that we may provide the string whereby Ariadne guided Theseus through the Labyrinth. This is of course an analogy from ancient mythology but the forces represented are actual. Such an effort offends entrenched networks of pundits and pedants who have staked their egos on obstinately clinging to failed models of engagement with the “Minotaur.”
In Secret Societies and Psychological Warfare published in April 2001, I referred to the “X Files” stratagem, after the television program of that name which entranced millions of viewers from 1993 to 2002. Like other popular TV shows such as the “History Channel,” viewers are given the impression they have learned something when in fact many of these broadcasts render them more ignorant than when they sat to watch. It is more perilous to mental acuity and spiritual health to think you know when you don’t, than to admit you don’t know, but would like to.
The X Files was in the former category and its principal defect was the extent to which it muddied the waters of the major conspiracies of our time. The general impression conveyed was confusion: everything causes cancer, so why bother to stop smoking? Everybody killed Kennedy — the Mafia, the CIA, Mossad, Castro, anti-Castro fighters, the Birch Society, Soviet communists, lone nut Oswald—therefore finding the culprits is impossible.
“I shouted out, ‘Who killed the Kennedys?’
“When after all, it was you and me…”
—Jagger and Richards, Sympathy for the Devil
Ersatz divulgences crowd out and obscure genuine disclosures from the perpetrators themselves, in our post-modern Era of Revelation.
