Katya: Titus I:15: “To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.

How lovely about the mother moose with calves at your Nativity scene! The animals come to worship. And to fill the surrounding Babel with the great beauty of Christmas music, as so many of our forbears did, especially older hymns, to restore our hearts — this is so needed now. Take away counterfeit scholarship with its counterfeit spirituality. And Holy Singing and Merry Christmas to all.

Keep going with your work, please…much needed balm for a person who understands what’s going on, spiritual war behind it all-the depraved fools going after Jesus Christ, Messiah and True King of this world. Providence will decide how it ultimately goes this time. I stay the course and look forward to Michael’s writing to help me. God bless us all.

If Jesus was for casted why did they see the need to have him birthed in the Manger near live stock. Wouldn't it make more sense to use water/river/ocean especially since we were ever so wiser back then to the point we could predict the future miracle birth

Great writing. I have only recently been made aware of this simmering resentment. But now when I watch nearly every Hollywood film of the last fifty years I will be noting a gratuitous reference to Jesus at some point. It's psychopathic.

I was a student at Columbia when Elaine Pagels was rolled out. It was woven into art history and sociology. At the time, I did not know how influential it would become. It is at the heart of eviscerating the "humanities" and was infused with feminism such as "Jesus as Mother"

I was at Barnard when Pagels was a professor there. I loved what felt at the time like a bravado to more deeply engage the Gospel and Biblical literature. Like so many women I was swept up by feminism... and to be fair, with some good reasons: I balked at the Church's double-speak, its rush to embrace the political ideology of the time. Priests and nuns were marrying, leaving their orders... It was a confusing, "anything goes" period that only succeeded in diluting our connection to the sacred and traditional Faith. I admired some of Pagels's early work; however, her work has not aged well. Her latest books do not speak to the rank and file Christian (of course, this is Michael's point... she is the darling of an atheistic literati), nor does her work speak to the growing cohort of young people looking for a spiritual home. In a word, she's become irrelevant.

Servus Mariae non peribit.

Thank you, Michael. Finding your writing has been a genuine blessing.

Merry Christmas — and continued success to you in every good endeavor in 2026.

Yes, a beautiful and moving story about your Nativity Scene, Michael. Thank you. We endure much ugliness in the world, in most recent years, it seems, an almost unendurable wave of ugliness and untruth. But beauty is undeniable, and irrepressible because it is at the heart of our human nature, and we recognize it when we see it. Beauty inspires quiet joy. Merry Christmas!

Katya P.S. —Today, December 20, 1704: “Johann Andreas Eisenmenger dies at age 50 after his 2 volume study of Talmudism, ‘Entdecktes Judenthum,’ is seized and banned” —Revisionist History Calendar.

Because of Michael Hoffman’s massive study and book, ‘Judaism Discovered’, Eisenmenger’s work did not die. We who call ourselves followers of Christ neglect this study at our peril, and “dig the graves of our children,” as Hoffman has said, by shying away from this reading. In this way, we (unconsciously) make space for the neo-pagan “demonic pentecost” by “scholars” like Elaine Pagels and her ilk.

“Judaism Discovered” — a great and timely Christmas present and reading project for 2026. Get it while you can! —and no, I am not on Michael’s payroll or advertising. It is simply a most important truth and means by which to begin to discern Fraud. Let us find knowledge in the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, born of Holy Mary, the blessed Theotokos, in Bethlehem. Great thanks to Mr. Hoffman for this lifelong labor.

Eisenmenger was professor of Hebrew, Aramaic and Oriental languages at the University of Heidelberg. Eisenmenger's life's work, ‘Entdecktes Judenthum' ("Judaism Discovered") was the inaugural scientific explication of the oral law of the Pharisees as taught in the Mishnah, Gemara, Shulchan Aruch, Zohar, etc. It was banned upon publication by the Holy Roman emperor at the behest of the financiers who funded the emperor's government and military. Almost all copies of the first edition were destroyed. Eisenmenger died soon after, probably of shock. A second printing, published circa 1714 was not interdicted because it was published in Protestant Prussia. The 2,000 pages of his two volumes have never been fully and accurately translated in English, or for that matter modern German, French or Spanish.

An excellent article. It seems they’ll jump on every opportunity to undermine the holiness of Christ and his Holy Mother. The forces of evil are always after Jesus because he is the Light of the world: the Way the Truth and the Life. We’ve had LGBT nativity plays over here and all sorts of stupidity. They’re not after Moses or Mohammed (or the Buddha for that matter), because they’re not the way to salvation (and they’d have big problems if they tried doing the same with Mohammed). These so called scholars at Oxford and Princeton are a joke!! As if they’re not aware of their own BS. All this criticism of the Faith is absolutely intentional and utterly malevolent. It comes from the evil one. They make fun and try to ridicule Christ in an attempt to lead people away from the Truth. But they can never sully the holy name of Jesus. The name above all names by which we must be saved! Amen. Happy Christmas!

Dear Mr Cook: thank you for your remarks. I have only one caveat—Moses is integral to our Christian faith. Jesus declared He came to fulfill the Torah which God gave to Moses.

And of course you are right, Mr Hoffman. I was thinking along those lines as I was writing. I just meant there’s no salvation without Christ, so targeting those others is not really a priority for the enemy. Thank you for your article and God bless.
