In conversation with acquaintances they appear to regard him in the way that they might think about Pat Sajak of Wheel of Fortune, with his beautiful Melania as the star Vanna White. The acquaintances do not really think about politics, everything is a game show of how does something make them feel. And they like simple stories with happy endings. A quote from Mrs. Clinton. So by their own admission, they are not inclined to wonder very much about political things. They regards themselves as good people, just like the rest of us.

In my secret world, I regard myself as a denizen of a higher plane. And to me the recent GOP nominating party, held in conjunction with the World Wrestling Federation annual confab and exposition was as boring as it could possibly be. Not one person talked about anything useful to the body politic. There was some rah rah about *we are not going to take the madness of Biden policy anymore* but nothing substantive.

We live in times of "paramoralism"--false or pseudo morality. We get so lost in the incessant doublespeak and double-mind of the political shouting all around us that we are deprived of both common sense and sense of conscience; that the "mind virus" or opposite of truth parading as truth keeps us from perceiving truth -- exactly as the cryptocracy intends.
Much of the time I feel I can barely understand what Michael Hoffman is saying in his vast work (that's why I read and reread it) but the capture of our country by a totalitarian ideology, by the method of gradualism (see Judaism Discovered) and now all at once: the "alchemy of the theatre of murder" always accelerating, that I can only repeat his warning (2020?) that we are digging (have dug) the graves of our children . . . as if history must repeat itself to make us amnesiacs remember.
