The thing that absolutely baffles me about the Trump supporters is their amnesia about Donald of Orange actually being president for 4 years and in position to attack the Deep State. Instead, he sh*tposted on Twitter. Rolled by Fauci, useless against leftist terror in the summer of 2020, and uninterested in seriously challenging a fraudulent election, why would anyone expect something different the next time around.

Absent a liberation at the hands of extraterrestrial life (can't wait for that psy-op to be played), only God can save us from our evil rulers.

Agree, but Trump is the best hope for getting the US back on life support.

Absolutely, Mr Holliday. I see them as cult and part of the psyops, or as Sister Lucia (R.I.P.) of Fatima terms it "diabolical disorientation". Anyone claiming he is "the best hope" for a paganized America is part of that cult...in a negative sense of the word.

Now, I agree that only "God can save us" at this point. But the Trinity STILL requires men of good will on doing their part, i.e., Christian Action, which thanks to our heretical clergy and "Americanism" is virtually non-existent in protestant America. #DeusVult "Viva Cristo Rey!"

Dostoevsky’s “Besy” The Demons (Pevear/Volokhonsky translation), connects Zhou, Oppenheimer (“I am become death”) Hanford, all the nuclear waste dumps across America and Sellafield in England) and all the American presidents of perpetual war—by the thread of nihilism: the devil’s stitchers, or mental virus. “The alchemical processed American people: too much pride, wealth, grotesque sloth? The Lord Jesus is our Tender Shepherd. In the world you will have tribulation, He said. The miracle, in this struggle with evil, is that we have lasted so long.

Wonderful thought and synthesis by Michael Hoffman. Another Poe poem comes tomind: Annabel Lee—the summer of mankind’s life is brief. Love one another.

A question and a comment: The Soviets had just withdrawn from Manchuria right before George Marshall, in late May 1946, "requested" that the Kuomintang halt its offensive. Would Stalin have broken his promise to Chiang not to intervene in the civil war, in order to save the Maoists?

If Joe Manchin enters the presidential race, he could throw the race to Trump. But unless the "No Labels" party runs a lot of congressional candidates, the Democrats who vote for Manchin will vote for Democrats in the congressional races. Thus, we could have an overwhelmingly Democrat Congress, with Trump as President-elect. Congress is sworn in before the President is. Congress could vote to impeach and remove Trump from office pre-emptively, on grounds that he was impeached last time, or, if he is convicted of crimes, on that basis, or whatever the Democrats dream up. Then, Vice President-elect Nikki Haley will become President. God help us.

P.S.- When driving, I always assume that all the other cars are "empty boats".

Arnold E. asked: "Would Stalin have broken his promise to Chiang not to intervene in the civil war, in order to save the Maoists?"

Hoffman: To attempt to answer your query, I would need to see documentation supporting your contention that Communist dictator Stalin made any promises to the anti-Communist Chiang.

I based my assumption of a Soviet-Chinese Nationalist Treaty on the "Sino-Soviet Treaty of Friendship and Alliance" between the National Government of the Republic of China and the Soviet Union which was signed in August, 1945, which I discovered in the article on the Soviet occupation of Manchuria in Wikipedia. According to the article, the Soviets turned over Manchuria to the Maoists in violation of the Treaty in March, 1946. The Soviets had been secretly supporting the Maoists since 1945. I question whether the United States had pressured the Nationalists to halt their 1946 offensive out of concern that the Soviets would send their troops back in from Outer Mongolia* (see note) to fight the Nationalists. If that would have occurred, there might not be a Republic of China on Taiwan today. The Soviets had no nuclear weapons at the time, but still, I doubt the United States would have intervened directly to save the Nationalists from possible annihilation.

* (The easiest route back into Manchuria for the Soviets probably would have been south from the Soviet Far East, rather than via the steppes of Mongolia.)

Hoffman: So much for Stalin's promise to Chiang.

Hoffman: In other words, President Truman thought it was necessary to let Mao conquer China in order to keep Russia from sending troops to assist Mao?

Whatever the fate of Taiwan, the unmitigated disaster of Marshall and Truman conniving to have one quarter of the population of the earth ruled by a Chinese Communist tyrant would seem to be in the category of the pyrrhic.

I agree that it was a pyrrhic defeat for hopes of relative liberty for the vast majority of Chinese. A question is, did the Truman administration want to keep some semblance of a Nationalist government intact as a counterbalance to Red China, by avoiding direct Soviet involvement. War with Japan had just ended, and the Republic of Korea (South Korea) was not established until August 1948. The weapons manufacturers could not export to east Asia and may have been trying to establish a future customer. If so, they were very successful.

I am taking a break from reading this to say how excellent this piece is so far. Lots of information to absorb; even more misinformation on this topic still embedded in my brain. Antidotes take time to work.

According to the "American Spectator's" Daniel J. Flynn in his articles, "The undeserved rehabilitation of J. Robert Oppenheimer" and "Yes, J. Robert Oppenheimer was a security risk" Oppenheimer was in essence a Communist agent codenamed, "Veskel."

Flynn states: "Pavel Sudoplatov so high-ranking that the Soviets placed him in charge of murdering Leon Trotsky, maintained in his autobiography that 'Oppenheimer supplied … the Soviet Union with crucial information for it to successfully test its own atomic bomb in 1949.'" And "recounts Oppenheimer’s involvement in detail, which included allowing moles access to secret data to copy it, and describes him as 'knowingly part of the scheme.'"

I highly doubt Oppie's Commie ops will make it into Nolan's film.

On a (possibly?) related issue, here is an article from the Vox website, which I thought was the website of "investigative journalist" Harry Vox in NY.

Hundreds of millions of people are viewing this summer's "Hollywood Trinity", "Sound of Barbenheimer". The first two, the one for the Right Wing, and the one for the Left Wing, respectively, induces amnesia about real life child molestation rings, and the war criminality of a "progressive McCarthyite victim". The third one, a feminist science fiction "comedy", reveals techniques on how to manipulate one's opponents to fight amongst themselves and then to accept the "changing times". Many theaters are playing only this "Trinity". It seems that intentional alchemical processing of the masses is afoot here.

It's worth noting that 70% of the American population is considered fully "vaccinated" against a "pandemic". Is this "Hollywood Trinity" the next stage in the Nigredo Phase of the putrefaction of America's consciousness, on the way to the "Philosopher's Stone", the "Magnum Opus" of Dystopia on Earth?
